On the 4th of September, we had the pleasure of hosting the 10th edition of the 100-plus day at Van der Valk Almere! Once again, we were honored to be sponsored by Aegon, who made this special day, and edition, possible.
The day involved a traditional Dutch lunch, including the delicious “broodje kroket”, followed by a performance by the fabulous Karin Bloemen! After some food and entertainment, the centenarians enjoyed plenty of time catching up with each other. Two of our 106-year-old centenarian participants even showed up in the same outfit, completely unplanned! It was a wonderful day, and we are already looking forward to the next edition!
